Following multiple charity requests, Able Diagnostics Inc., a biotech company based in San Diego, CA., announced that on May 18, 2020 it will start to distribute VivaGuard HA-650 Infrared Forehead Thermometer. The thermometer provides an accurate and quick, Non-Contact measurement of body temperature in 1 second. It also features a multicolored backlight with Red High Fever Alert and is capable of holding up to 50 measurement memories.

The Non-Contact thermometer is easy to use and offers reliable readings and, most importantly, it minimizes the risk of cross-contamination and the spread of diseases such as COVID-19. The thermometer is cleared by the FDA as a Class II medical device and is intended for home use, also can be used in hospitals/clinics for reference use as an initial screening tool during the public health emergency.

Able Diagnostics will immediately distribute these thermometers to several charities as part of the charitable effort to combat the Coronavirus pandemic. Since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic in mid-March, Able Diagnostics has bought large quantities of N95 masks, Surgical masks, and Ventilators for charities donating to hospitals in CA, PA, CT, NJ, NY, and other states.
